Chennai: Since August, when Southern Railway truncated MRTS train services from Chennai Beach to Velachery at Chintadripet railway station, traveling between Gowrivakkam and Ambattur Industrial Estate has become an uphill task for people like Rabe Daniel.
But there is some good news now for commuters. Southern Railway is hopeful about resuming MRTS services between Beach and Chintadripet from March.
Commuters, however, want the railways to speed up the work as last mile connectivity from the railway station is poor.
