Forestry careers explored – The Border Watch

The opportunities available in the forest industry have been highlighted to students in South-West Victoria.

180 students from Casterton, Hamilton and Portland descended on the Casterton Racecourse earlier this month to explore forestry career opportunities in the Green Triangle.

Students witnessed an up-close waterbombing from the Green Triangle Fire Alliance’s helicopter, which had been based in Casterton over the summer.

Career of highs and lows, Parry says

Departing Gore District Council chief executive Stephen Parry says he is looking forward to dusting off the drum kit and the guitar, and not being blamed for anything going wrong.

Mr Parry took part in his last council meeting this weekend and was congratulated for his service by Cr Bronwyn Reid.

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) With News 12 celebrating our 70th anniversary this month, we thought we would celebrate with former News 12 Sports Director Randy Smith.
He started here in 1978 and enjoyed a ten year run.

Murray High senior plans to start an interior design career | News

Cejay Riley, a Murray High School senior and Murray State Teen of the Week, aspires to become an interior designer. She draws inspiration from remodeling projects she’s completed for friends and family.
